Great show / Not so great venue
Featuring Clara La San, AEW Dark was filmed prior to Dynamite and then Rampage. The crowd was really into it, and all of the matches were very entertaining. As always, AEW put on a fabulous show. This was my third AEW event, and they never disappoint. I was very disappointed as for the venue. I was excited when Savannah decided to build a new arena, but going there was underwhelming. Upon arrival at 6:00pm for an 8:00pm start time, the lot I paid for was full. First of all, I bought prepaid parking for the show for $30. We were directed to a third lot in which we were also denied. I ended up paying an additional $20 to park in a private lot. I was sent to another lot which we were told we couldn’t park in. My son and I didn’t even get inside until 7:15pm due to the parking issue. Once inside the venue, there were limited concession stands and a very limited menu. Bathroom lines were very long, and the temperature was warm as we were all sweating throughout the entire show. In addition, the police directing traffic were very rude and unhelpful. We loved AEW, but will never return to Enmarket Arena. I will make the two-hour drive to and from Jacksonville instead. Thankfully, the great show made up for the poor venue.
